I began my journey into yoga after taking my first yoga class in 1997. I fell in love with the practice, realizing that I had been doing yoga (without knowing it) since my childhood in Sweden.

 My passion grew and in 2005 I completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program. Since then I have completed additional specialized courses including Kids Yoga, Pre-natal Yoga, and Restorative Yoga, as well as numerous workshops with internationally known yogi’s David Swenson, Jason Crandell, Rolf Gates, Bo Forbes and other notable local instructors.

I continue to develop my practice and instruction techniques: In June of 2015, I completed a three year Certified Yoga Therapist program with Leila Stuart, and I finished Madhuri Ayurveda & Yoga teacher training in the spring of 2016.

I believe that through yoga we can begin to understand and feel a sense of contentment, and consequently understand and live in harmony inside ourselves, embracing any moment no matter what emotions roll through us- the good or the bad. Yoga can provide us the tools to lean on, to hold us in the moment, to get through whatever turmoil is present in our lives.

My life goal is to share the beauty and benefits of yoga with others in the hope that they will feel its positive effects as I have.
